Is it really free?
Yes. The Modern Job Hunt community program is completely free — the sessions, the workbook, the help. Urban Connection is a nonprofit and this program is our mission.
Do I need a resume or a degree to join?
No. Come as you are. Most people in the program don't have a college degree, and many join without a resume. We build all of that together.
What happens after I register?
You'll get an email with your first steps guide and the details for the next live session. A real person from our team will follow up to welcome you.
Will you find me a job?
We can't promise anyone a job — nobody honestly can. What we do promise: you'll know exactly what to do next, you'll have real help doing it, and you won't be doing it alone.
Are you part of the government or the unemployment office?
No. Urban Connection is a nonprofit organization. We are not a government agency and are not affiliated with any state unemployment office. We can help you find the right official resources for your state.
