Since 2009
Seventeen years of showing up
It started with meals and presence on Skid Row in Los Angeles — not a program, just showing up for people week after week. It grew into Wando International, where women in Uganda learned a craft, formed beading collectives, and built stable lives for their families.
Today, the same idea guides everything we do: people don't need pity. They need a skill, a community, and a connection to opportunity. That's what Urban Connection builds.
